Well, today is Friday and not a ton of things to report. Wednesday, Joe and I had an OB appt. and can I just say that the closer and closer I get to the due date, the more boring these check-ups become. The problem is that now I have a check-up every two weeks, but they consist of calculating the amount of FAT I have put on, checking my blood pressure, measuring the length of my uterus, (I think that's what they are doing anyway) and the ONLY fun part, listening to our baby's heartbeat. So, technically speaking, I spend, oh, about 40 minutes in the waiting room and HALF that with the doc. I mentioned the other day that we have a strong baby on our hands, well, I was right. The doctor put the little heart beat thingy up to my stomach and we hear this LOUD washing machine noise. She looked up and said "Wow, he's got a strong heart!" YEAH!!! That's my boy!

Anyway, things still seem to be going along swimmingly as far as normal baby growth goes, but as far as deployment dates.....not so much.

We still are eagerly awaiting the next tid-bit of information from the army, letting us know their next move and how we'll be involved. I swear I live my life one Army briefing at a time. It's frustrating, because I am exactly two months from my due date and quickly approaching the threatening "pre-term labor" time as far as airplanes are concerned. Technically, from here on out, I am "forbidden" from riding in airplanes, due to the fear of those in the plane with me, of my delivering thousands of miles in the air. So, you can understand my concern, when it looks like I won't be entering that plane for another month, possibly. Things just don't seem to be going too smoothly....augh, that's the story of my life these days.

Anyway, we'll make it through it, and who knows, maybe our little boy will have a story to tell his friends of being born on the floor of an airplane....hey, everybody needs a good story!
